This practice is a space to help unearth the real you.

THERAPIST & YOGA TEACHER, OWNER

Hey hey! Welcome!

Seeking support isn’t always easy so shout out to you for being intentional & responsive to your needs. I believe therapy is a transformative space where restoration can take place. After several years of seeking my own supportive spaces, I know how important it is to know a bit about the person holding said space.

So- I’m Billie, a Cancerian, Baltimore native & recovering scaredy-cat, but no, like for real, lol. Living authentically means telling the truth about myself and loving me, regardless. For a very long time, I’ve allowed the worst that could happen, guide my decision-making, but no more. With loving-kindness, I’m able to appreciate my timid part for keeping me safe and doing the best she could, but now, It’s time that a more courageous part takes the stage so here I am! Therapy in itself is not one size fits all and therapy with me is even more unique because I will honor the vastness of who you are.

If you can’t tell by now, with me, you won’t have to choose which version of you shows up. Every part is welcomed.

I have worked in the helping profession for nearly ten years. The early stages of my career began supporting survivors of intimate partner violence & human trafficking in the Baltimore/Washington DC area. Since then, I’ve worked with community-based organizations holding space for Black women & activists in Baltimore, and the city government supporting homicide survivors.

My therapeutic approach is diverse. It includes techniques like exploring thought patterns & behaviors, building skills to manage your emotions, and helping you develop a mindfulness practice among many other things.

I received my Undergraduate Degree from Towson University, and my Master’s in social work from Morgan State University. Since then, I’ve been committed to furthering my education with specialized training. Some of the trainings I’ve most recently attended were: Treating Complicated/Prolonged Grief (2019), Brainspotting I & II (2020), Decolonizing Therapy for Black Folks (2021), and Energy & Sound Healing Certification (2021), Yoga Teacher Training (2022), among others.
